Courtney Bess Joins A Touch of Mystery!
Courtney, who recently joined us, is excited to become a part of the vibrant Las Vegas entertainment scene. She may have been in Vegas for three years, but she’s still discovering the magic of the city, especially as she steps into her new role with us.
A Hilarious Twist
It’s always a fun twist when two performers share a name. Courtney Bess will be joining fellow performer Courtney Sheets in our upcoming show at Lowry’s. Despite growing up without encountering another Courtney, these two are already fast friends, adding a unique dynamic to our team.
Debuting in “Mystery Is Murder”
Courtney will make her debut as Stella Dora Butler in our musical adaptation of “Mystery Is Murder” at Lowry’s. Her incredible voice and stage presence are sure to captivate the audience. We’re excited to hear her bring this character to life and even choose a song that fits her role perfectly.
A Touch of Humor
Courtney shared a humorous insight about her character, suggesting that Stella should have a sister named Lorna Dune, a nod to the famous cookie. This playful addition is just a glimpse of Courtney’s creative spirit and sense of humor, which will undoubtedly enhance her performance.
Courtney’s Background
Courtney’s journey to A Touch of Mystery is as fascinating as her character. An Annie enthusiast from a young age, she performed in three regional productions and always dreamed of having her own Sandy. Her passion for theater continued as she worked as an occupational therapist in New York City and even during the pandemic, when she shifted to voiceover work.
Voiceover Talent
Courtney’s voiceover career took off during the pandemic. She narrated a documentary about the historic commercial center in downtown Las Vegas, which received acclaim and is now up for local Emmys. This experience highlighted her versatile talent and deepened her connection to the Las Vegas community.

You can catch Courtney Bess in our annual Halloween show, “Mystery Is Murder,” at Lawry’s on October 30th. Tickets will be on sale soon, and they sell out quickly, so don’t miss your chance to see this incredible performance.
